"That you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God" -Ephesians 3:17-19
About my blog
In the Parable of the Sower, Jesus tell us that the seed is truth found in the Word of God. When the seed is sowed along the path, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown. When the seed falls in rocky terrain,he 'has no root in himslef'; when persecution arises the seed withers. When sown among the thorns, the seed is choked by cares of the world. But 'as for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and yields'. As believers, we tend to assume that we are seeded in the good soil. However, how are we spending our time? our money? our energy? I don't mean to sound discouraging, but really nothing should concern us more than our relationship with God. If we are truly seeking His kingdom above all else, that should have a dramatic effect on how we live our earthly lives. I screw up a lot and my faith in Christ is nowhere close to being perfect or steady. However, this blog is a place where I can reflect on my walk with Christ-and share about our all-knowing, all-loving Creator who is so worthy of our praises. What I say about scripture and what I get out of it doesn't necessarily mean that I'm good at following it, but I'm striving to have a clearer vision of what it means to follow Christ and what that looks like for my earthly life.
